Meet our Team

Bill Mohri
Founder & CEO
A senior brand and business leader with senior roles in the technology, management consulting and CPG sectors. Bill was Head of Partnerships and Strategy at Microsoft Canada and at MSN International and was a Director at Deloitte Consulting where he worked with leading, global CPG and tech companies on marketing strategy and planning. Bill received the Superior Achievement Award at Kraft Foods and the Circle of Excellence at Microsoft.
He holds a BA and MBA from University of Toronto.

Dr. James Henry
Chief Science Advisor
A Professor Emeritus of Neurosciences, McMaster University, Jim spent his career as a cellular electrophysiologist investigating the chemical basis of synaptic transmission, mechanisms of neuroplasticity and changes in neuronal phenotype. Most research focussed on spinal pain mechanisms in animal models, as this provided an integrated neural network to study central control mechanisms.
Jim has published 203 referred papers with 235 papers in total in his field.

Sara Curwen
COO
Sara brings more than 30 years of experience in supply chain and operations and her passion for operational excellence, enabled by establishing collaborative relationships with partners throughout the chain. Most recently Sara was COO at Saje Natural Wellness and prior to that she held senior leadership positions at Weston Foods where she was known for her innovative approaches to leading teams through transformational efforts to reduce costs, improve service and manage supply chain disruptions.
Sara holds a Harvard MBA and a Bachelor of Mathematics from Waterloo.

Faissal Tahiri
Chief Commercial Advisor
Global Senior Management Executive with years of successful experiences in Pharmaceutical and Vitamin & Mineral Supplements with Pfizer and The Bountiful Company, a Nestlé Health Science Company. His roles at Pfizer included MD of Latin America and Global Head of Marketing and Commercial. At The Bountiful Company, Faissal was President, International.
Faissal has extensive international experience and speaks five languages fluently.

Dr. Ricardo Taipa
Science Advisor
Ricardo Taipa works as a Neuropathologist at the Neuropathology Department, Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Santo António, and as a Consultant Neurologist dedicated to the Dementia Clinic, Department of Neurology, in the same hospital. He is the Director of the Neuropathology Department and coordinator of the Portuguese Brain Bank. Since 2019, he has been appointed as the Invited Associated Professor in Neuroanatomy at the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University of Porto.
Dr. Taipa completed his PhD at the Life and Health Sciences Research Institute, University of Minho.

Dr. Kiran Yashpal
Science Advisor
A neuroscientist specializing in the chemistry of physiological mechanisms of acute and chronic pain and the development of unique animal models to understand these mechanisms. Kiran has published 50 papers in various peer-review neuroscience journals.
Her Ph.D. is in Neurology & Neurosurgery, Montreal Neurological Institute, McGill University.
