Bioavailable and Safe

Our novel solubilization science allows us to make natural lipophilic products soluble in water. In this process they become more bioavailable, nano in size and able to pass through the blood-brain barrier. This allows our product to be more bioavailable, making the effective dose smaller.

The Product

  • Our product is an orally delivered water soluble Coenzyme Q10 formula

  • Our research has proven that this formula blocks on-going neurodegeneration in rats exposed to paraquat (a toxic herbicide which causes Parkinson’s Disease) and transgenic Alzheimer’s mice.

Mechanism of Action in Alzheimer's 
and Parkinson's Disease Models

We’ve shown scientifically in both Alzheimer’s Disease and Parkinson’s Disease that our product halts neurodegeneration by:

  • Stabilizing the mitochondria

  • Inhibiting oxidative stress and inflammation

  • And most importantly, by activating autophagy (that is, the ‘self-eating’ or self-cleaning process), we’ve shown results in the survival of brain cells including dopaminergic neurons and in the hippocampus.

The Science behind Our Compound

Our compound builds upon the scientifically validated foundation of Ubisol-Q10, a nano micellar, water-dispersible formulation of Coenzyme Q₁₀, to achieve enhanced mitochondrial targeting, antioxidant activity, and neuroprotection.

Why it works:

  • Enhanced Bioavailability & Delivery Platform - Ubisol-Q10, created by combining CoQ₁₀ with polyoxyethanyl α-tocopheryl sebacate (PTS)—an amphiphilic, FDA-GRAS molecule—forms stable nano micelles (~22 ± 7 nm). This dramatically increases water dispersion, stability, and uptake—including brain penetration—and enabled therapeutic benefit in animal models at doses as low as 6 mg/kg/day (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8150875/?utm_source=chatgpt.com ).

 

  • Mitochondrial Integrity & Neuroprotection in Cell Models - In hippocampal HT22 neuronal cells subjected to glutamate-induced excitotoxicity, Ubisol-Q10 prevented mitochondrial fragmentation, preserved mitochondrial membrane potential, maintained calcium retention capacity, and blocked mitochondrial permeability transition pore (mPTP) opening—thereby inhibiting apoptosis, AIF release, and DNA fragmentation (https://www.ijbs.com/v12p0688?utm_source=chatgpt.com ).  

  

  • Synergistic Benefits in Alzheimer’s Disease Models - In double-transgenic mice modeling Alzheimer’s disease (TgAPPSwe/PSEN1dE9), Ubisol-Q10 significantly mitigated behavioral decline and pathological markers.   • Augmented Mechanistic Activity - Ubisol-Q10 has been shown to mobilize astroglia, enhance autophagy, reduce inflammation, and activate anti-senescence pathways (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34064983/ ) .
